My name is Sue Gallagher, and I am the owner/designer/maker of ladeDAH! Jewelry. Although, I have no formal art training, I have always enjoyed making things, which is what led me to my original career as an Occupational Therapist. While teaching Occupational Therapy at a small university in CT, I visited my folks who were living in Tucson and thought I'd shop "the gem show" for a few beads to make a bracelet or necklace while I was there. I caught the bug and began making anything and everything beaded at my dining room table. Today I work out of a sweet little light-filled studio in a beautiful old building in downtown Westerly, RI. I've learned metal smithing, torch-fired enameling, knotting, and etching since those early days. Having spent my childhood in Kansas, I have a strong connection with all things western and you'll probably see this influence in my jewelry.
